I was reading about estimated census results on USA Today yesterday. And, is this the way of it?

Texas cities are emerging as the growth leaders, according to the July 1, 2009, estimates. Four of the 10 fastest-growing — including No. 1 Frisco — and 11 of the top 25 cities that have populations above 100,000 are in Texas.

Sunbelt not so much.

Minorities leading growth.

Richardson Texas 103,201 12.7% (percent change 2000 to 2009)

Here's one exchange:

boom cities=booming crime, sprawl, traffic, expense and last but not least, booming disconnect in the community. i like these articles 'cause i can cross them off my list of places to move to (i've moved a lot) without making a visit or even a phone call"

=====Only useful advice for families & seniors.. I love boom towns like Vegas. MORE DEATH=LESS RENT. I have no interest in community, churches or schools. I rate cities on sleaze & cheap luxury rentals. The majority of adults are now SINGLE.
